- Description
- The US Army Garrison Miami Property Book Office under the Directorate of Logistics (DOL) has a requirement for logistical and technical services to include providing hand receipts support; issue and turn-in; inventory of equipment and supplies, and other administrative duties as required. Additionally, the Contractor shall provide technical guidance to Supply Operations customers concerning supply requirements; provide logistical technical assistance to military and civilian personnel of all units, elements and activities assigned to, or stationed in the South Florida area; ensure adherence to management, administrative, operational, and safety requirements of the DOL standard operating procedures; ensure that internal control checklists are prepared and submitted to meet established suspense dates and that corrective actions are completed within acceptable timeframes. The performance period for this service shall be a 12 month base year with two 12 month option periods to begin 1 April 2012. All labor, vehicles, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other furnished property and services except as specified in the performance work statement as Government Furnished Property will be provided by the contractor. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541614 with a small business size standard of $7,000,000.00. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 9 March 2012 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available to perspective contractors. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this website frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award.
