Description

The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia, 22448-5l10, plans to procure on a sole source basis, technical support for one (1) Spectrum 9100 for the period 01 May 2012 through 30 April 2013, and options for two (2) Spectrum 9100 systems, for the expected period of performance of 01 August 2012 through 30 April 2013. Proposed vendor is the manufacturer, Teradyne, Inc, located @ North Reading, MA. This technical support shall include telephone and web-based support, rapid parts replacement if necessary, no charge license transfers, on-site engineering assistance and preventive maintenance during the period of the contract. This technical support is critical to the MK41 Vertical Launch Systems. There will be no written solicitation issued as a result of this notification. Please reference NSWC Request for Quote (RFQ) # N00178-12-Q-1001. Interested parties may submit their quotes/bids to the following: roberta.moss@navy.mil, or by faxing to 540-653-7088. This solicitation is expected to close on or about 23 March 2012, with award expected on/before 13 April 2012.
