Description
A market survey is being conducted to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small business concerns to set this solicitation aside for them. If your firm is a Small Business, certified HUBZONE, 8A, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, or Woman Owned Small Business and you are interested in this project please respond appropriately. The proposed contract is a 5-Year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Mine Reclamation actions in Region 6 (Washington and Oregon). Activities may include; Abbreviated Preliminary Assessment; Site Inspection; Engineering Evaluation and Cost Analysis; Removal Design; Time-Critical or Non-Time-Critical Removal Action; Post-Removal Operations, Maintenance, and Monitoring. The government anticipates awarding 4 IDIQ contracts that will have a shared ceiling of $10,000,000.00. The NAICS is 541330 Engineering Services (Mining Engineering). All interested Small Businesses, certified HUBZONE, 8A, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business contractors should respond to this survey by email on 26 March, 2012 by 12:00 Pacific. Responses shall include the following: (1) Identification and verification of the company's small business status under NAICS 541330. (2) The firms experience in the past 5 years with the following tasks in Mine Reclamation efforts in remote sites such as Forests and Wildlands: (A) Abbreviated Preliminary Assessment - Individual tasks valued of at LEAST $5,000.00 (B) Site Inspection - Individual tasks valued of at LEAST $125,000.00; (C) Engineering Evaluation and Cost Analysis - Individual tasks valued of at LEAST $75,000.00; (E) Removal Design - Individual tasks valued of at LEAST $75,000.00; (F) Removal Action - where the small business firm maintained FULL responsibility for oversight/management/direction such as being the prime with subcontractor(s) relationship. Individual Removal Action with a cost of at LEAST $1,500,000.00; (G) Post-Removal Operations, Maintenance, and Monitoring - Individual tasks valued of at LEAST $20,000.00/year; Based on definitions above, for each project submitted include: a. Performance period. b. Scope of the project c. Dollar value of the project: e. The portion and percentage of work that was self performed, f. Project Name/Contract number and point of contact to include phone number.
