Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 260 Industrial Way West, Eatontown, NJ 07724 intends to enter into a contract on the basis of other than full and open competition for the development of a centralized VA suicide data repository. The TAC intends to award a sole source, twelve (12) month, firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract with a six (6) month FFP option for backup services to Ray Group International, LLC of 100 South Ashley Dr, STE 1700 Tampa, FL 33602, a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) pursuant to authority 38 U.S.C. 8127(c), Veterans First Contracting Program and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-5, Authorized or required by statute. This acquisition will provide programming and technical support services including database design and integration, system administration, and help desk support. The goal of this project is to develop a centralized VA suicide data repository that will be able to consolidate and integrate existing VA databases. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 541511. The estimated date of award for this action is April 2, 2012. This is a notice of intent, not a request for proposals.
