- Aluminum Materials Solicitation The Operational Contracting Division, Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, FL intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for various aluminum materials. This acquisition is under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested, and a written request for quotation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) F1T0CY2024AG01. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 331315, with small business size standard of 750 employees. Offerors will be evaluated on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis IAW FAR 15.101-2 and the award will be made to the lowest priced offeror that meets the minimum requirement. There will be no advance payments. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001: Six (6) Sheets of Aluminum 6061-T6 48x144 In.190; CLIN 0002: Eleven (11) Sheets of Aluminum Plate 6061-T651 1/4 48 1/2 x 96 1/2 In 48.5 x 96.5 ; CLIN 0003: One (1) Sheet of Aluminum Plate 6061-T651 1/4 60 1/2 x 144 1/2 In 60.5 x 144.5; CLIN 0004: Two (2) Lengths of Aluminum Ext 6061-T6511 2 RD 12 Foot; CLIN 0005: Two (2) Pieces of Aluminum Ext 6061-T6511 4 RD 96 In Cut Tolerance: + 1/8 / -0; CLIN 0006: Two (2) Plates of Aluminum Plate 6061-T651 1 48 1/2 x 96 1/2 In 48.5 x 96.5; and CLIN 0007: Two (2) Plates of Aluminum Plate Misc 6061-T651 1-1/2 MISC 48 1/2 x 96 In Cut Tolerance: +1/8 / -0. * All pieces must have been melted or rolled in the United States or Canada IAW DFARS 252.225-7030; Delivery: Customer preference is NLT than 10 days After Date of Award (ARO), but quotes will still be evaluated LPTA and delivery timeframe will not be a factor in the decision.
