- The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Detroit, Michigan that will be expiring. The U.S. Government requires the following: State: Michigan City: Detroit Delineated Area: The area enclosed by the I-94 Ford Expressway from Vernier Road (a/k/a Eight Mile Road) to Moross Road (a/k/a Seven Mile Road); from Moross Road to Mack Avenue; from Mack Avenue back up to Vernier Road; and from Vernier Road back to the I-94 Ford Expressway Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 9,264 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 9,727 Space Type: General Office Parking Spaces (Total): 48 Parking Spaces (Surface): 0 Parking Spaces (Structured): 48 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 48 Full Term: Ten (10) years Firm Term: Five (5) years Additional Requirements: The proposed site or building must be within a walkable ¼ mile from a bus stop or mass transportation system. Interested parties must provide the name of the building, address, location of available space, rentable square feet offered, and contact information of authorized representative. In cases where an agent is representing multiple ownership entities, written acknowledgement/permission to represent multiple interested parties for the same submission. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. The proposed leased space shall be fully serviced. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain.
