Description: Notice of Intent to Sole Source: The Bureau of Reclamation, Montana Area Office, Tiber Field Office intends to award to Marias River Electric Coop, Inc. a purchase order for electrical utility services. The proposed action is for electrical utility services for which the Government believes that there is only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy the agency's requirement. A Justification for Other than Full and Open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action is solely within the discretion of the Government. The anticipated award date is March 12, 2012. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 221122; a firm is considered small if, including its affiliates, it is primarily engaged in the generation, transmission, and/or distribution of electric energy for sale and its total electric output for the preceding fiscal year did not exceed 4 million megawatt hours.
