- To all interested parties: The Government intends to establish Blanket Purchase Agreements(BPA) IAW FAR 13.303 with 2-4 vendors for the acquisition of collapsible wardrobes. It is anticipated that the BPA(s) will be established for a total of five( 5) years. This procurement will be conducted through full and open competition for which the procedures set forth in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 shall apply. The purpose of this notice is to comply with the synopses and presolicitation notice requirements of Far 5.2 - Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. This notice and any subsequent solicitation will be handled using electronic commerce. Stateside vendors will not be excluded for consideration. Draft specifications are attached for your review and feedback. - Please ensure comments are concise and specific to information contained in the Draft Specifications Contractors must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award We encourage interested parties to notify us of their intent to participate. The Government intends to hold an Industry Day on 28 Mar 12 at Einsiedlerhof, Germany to further discuss this acquisition and prospects for strategic sourcing initiatives for dorm furniture, appliances and Furnishing Management Office furniturefurniture. Please review the attached draft specification and submit all comments and questions by 21 Mar 12. Information pertaining to Industry Day will be posted on Fed Biz Ops. In interest of fairness request all communication and question be routed through the contracting officer while in presolicitation phase.
