Water distribution systems are mobile systems and equipment used for the transport and distribution of potable or nonpotable water. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Authorized Equipment List (AEL) item number for this equipment is 19GN-00-H2OD: System, Water Distribution. The primary focus of this request is on water distribution systems used where clean water is not available (e.g., dispensers, storage tanks, and transport trailers). The target audience for this information is emergency management agencies, public health departments, and public utilities. All submittals should be suited to their specific needs. Review of this information is being performed for the DHS System Assessment and Validation for Emergency Responders (SAVER) Program, which aims to conduct objective comparative assessments and validation of commercial equipment and systems and provide those results with the emergency responder community. For more information on the SAVER Program, visit https://www.rkb.us/saver. SPECIFIC INFORMATION SOUGHT INCLUDES: 1. Company information, including name, address, URL, revenue, and number of employees. 2. Whether the company is a manufacturer or distributor. 3. A point of contact for follow-up information, and the point of contacts phone number and e-mail address. 4. Product name and a brief description (75 words or less) of each water distribution system. 5. Cost information such as purchase price and General Services Administration (GSA) schedule information. The submitted information will be evaluated for inclusion in SAVER projects. If a SAVER project on this type of equipment is executed, the equipment selection will be based upon a number of factors, including responder surveys and focus group inputs. Consequently, follow-up requests for feedback should not be made through Federal Business Opportunities posting agency. Vendors may be contacted following submission for more detailed product information. Vendor provided information may be reformatted for publication in SAVER Program documents. SUBMITTALS Respondents are required to complete the attached product summary questionnaire (Potable Water Distribution Systems_RFI_pub.pdf) for each product and submit the questionnaires FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE FIRST PAGE OF THE QUESTIONNAIRE. The technical point of contact is Darius Tavasoli at darius.tavasoli@navy.mil or Brian Spell at brian.r.spell@navy.mil. The information received shall be reviewed to conduct objective, comparative assessments and validation of available equipment and/or systems. A NOTE REGARDING THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: This RFI is for information gathering and planning purposes only, and should not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or solicitation of an offer. The Government DOES NOT intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or otherwise pay for the information solicited. Submission of vendor information constitutes consent to publication of that information in SAVER Program documentation. The questionnaire and a Word document with the same information above are available on our e-commerce website https://e-Commerce.sscno.nmci.navy.mil.
