Description

The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with CMG Media Ventures LLC, 700 River Ave, STE 218, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 for a HDX4-525 Digital Signage system which includes the following equipment items: (1)DDR# enhanced NVIDIA HD cards, (2) Intel Atom Windows Pro, (3)Scala Software,(4)Scala support, (5)Installation and 1 year warranty and support. This equipment can only be provided by CMG due to the proprietary software already purchased by the VA which is compatable to this equipment and no other existing system has been found that has the capabilities of this integrated turn-key system. A delivery schedule will need to be coordinated and delivered NLT March 16, 2012. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Vendors who wish to identify their interest and capability to provide this equipment as described above must notify this Contracting Officer at Ronald.Kline@va.gov NLT March 5, 2012 at Noon EST. No telephone responses will be accepted. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
