- NASA/KSC plans to issue a Draft Request for Proposal (Draft RFP) for the followingCommercial Items/Services for Kennedy Space Center Support Services III (KISS III). Thispotential contract will require contractor support in various areas such as, but notlimited to clerical support, financial management support, personnel program activitysupport, employee development support, employee benefits support, personnel actionprocessing support, procurement acquisition and contract administration support, analystsupport, business systems support and records and property management support.NASA/KSC intends to issue a single award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ)contract with fixed-price task orders with a maximum value of $48M and a four year periodof performance. The period of performance will include a twelve month base period andthree one year options.This procurement is a total small business set-aside and is being offered for competitionlimited to eligible 8(a) concerns. Offerors are solicited only from small businessconcerns expressly certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) for participationin the SBA 8(a) program.The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 561110 and $7 Million respectively.The anticipated release date of the Draft RFP NNK12423244R is on or about 3/19/2012 withan anticipated due date for comments on or about 3/30/2012.The anticipated release date of the Request for Proposal (RFP) NNK12423244R is on orabout 04/09/2012 with an anticipated proposal due date of on or about 05/14/2012. An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note B. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over theInternet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may beaccessed using a WWW browser application.
