Description

SSJ SOW Hollow Metal Doors and SCM Multimode CAC Readers. The solicitation number is FA8601-12-T-0125. The NAICS Code is 238210. The size standard is $14,000,000. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The proposed source is SmartNet, Inc., 225 Bucheimer Road, Frederick, MD 21701. The purchase is for the installation, testing and programming replacement of 2 existing doors with hollow metal doors with cylinder locks and hardware and 3 SCM Multi Mode CAC readers for the AFIT/SC (Information Technology) department located in the hallway in Bldg. 642. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within five (5) business days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotations should be e-mailed to robert.neeb@wpafb.af.mil no later than 4:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, 8 March 2012. Only proposals received by this date will be considered.
