Description
A. STATEMENT OF SERVICES REQUIRED This scope of work identifies the types of services that may be required under this contract. These may include architectural and engineering services for petroleum fuel facilities for the Defense Logistics Agency Military Construction program and Defense Energy Support Center Maintenance and Repair program. Services are primarily, mechanical, civil, and electrical designs for petroleum fuel facilities; including fuel storage, handling, and distribution systems, including tanks, valves, piping and pumping, fueling specialties, and associated electrical power and lighting, cathodic protection, communications, and control systems. Services may range from fuel storage tank inspections, renovation of existing facilities; preparation of design-build RFPs, comprehensive integrated design services (full plans and specifications) for new DoD petroleum fuel facilities. B. AREAS COVERED BY THE SCOPE OF WORK The services for the scope of this contract predominately cover Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force bases within the NAVFAC SE area of responsibility (AOR), including Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean. The A-E may also, on occasion, be tasked to provide the services described above at any Department of Defense (DOD) or other Federal agency facility worldwide.
