- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE - 28 February 2012 - ACC ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND intends to issue a purchase order under FAR 13.501, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Luminys, Inc. on a Sole Source basis to purchase the following line items: CLIN 0001: Five (5) Lighting Systems, 1.1K LED HiG CLIN 0002: Five (5) Lighting Systems, 1.1K LED HiG 2x The intended delivery date for the items is March-April 2012. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole-source contract to Luminys, Inc. This firm is the sole developer/ distributor of the product; no other source will satisfy the Government's requirement. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 335129 and the business size standard is 500. All responses received within ten (10) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 2:00PM Eastern Time, 9 March 2012. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-30 effective 15 January 2009. This requirement is determined to be available from only one source because of it unique requirements. No request for quote for this procurement will be transmitted via Federal Business Opportunities. Proposed award date is on or about 14 March 2012. All potential offerors shall contact Jennifer L. Posting date of this requirement is 10 February 2012.
