- Labor Category Listing for MS Premier Support Services Synopsis: This is a Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified Vendors and (2) secure market research pricing data for the attached Microsoft Premier Support Services. Your response will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. If your company possesses the capability to procure this support service identified in this Notice submit a pricing statement for consideration. Interested parties are expected to review this Notice to familiarize themselves with the requirements of this project. A determination by the Government not to make a competitive award based upon the responses to this Notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Background: Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to use Microsoft Premier Support Services to resolve highly complex technical issues involving the Agency's Microsoft Support Network. The action provides proactive support planning, problem resolution and special consulting for the Microsoft products on DTRA Information Technology (IT) infrastructure as well as providing new solution-oriented technical support and personalized support management services for these products. This technical support service will provide a set of discrete and independent IT capabilities for the Agency. The following provides details of specific capabilities that will be provided by Microsoft Premier Support Services: 1) See the attached Microsoft Premier Support Services (Labor Category Listing for Support Services). Purpose and Objectives: The objective of this project is to procure Microsoft Premier Support Services. Microsoft software is utilized on the DTRA IT infrastructure. This software must be maintained and updated as new versions are released or as malfunctions occur. Project Requirements: Procurement Microsoft Premier Support Services • Upon direction from the Government, the contractor shall provide technical support services to satisfy this requirement. It is anticipated that the Microsoft Premier Support Services will be the basis of this purchase. However, final direction regarding Microsoft Premier Support Services from the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) will be provided after the requirement review and approval. Capabilities: Interested parties should submit a brief (1 to 2 pages) tailored Capability Statement that demonstrates a clear understanding of the Project Requirements section of this notice. Responses: Offerors possessing the requested capabilities to perform the Tasks stated are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey/sources sought. Interested offerors should address within their electronic responses the following: 1. Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, email address, and Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS). Provide business size and status such as Small Business, Disadvantaged, 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB) Zone, Woman Owned, Minority Owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, or Other Than Small Business. Non-profit organization must indicate size (small or large business). Provide contract vehicles you participate in such as General Services Administration (GSA), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Solutions for Enterprise Wide Procurement (SEWP), National Institutes of Health (NIH) Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC), or any other vehicle that DTRA is authorized to use. 2. Ideas/recommendations for an acquisition strategy to satisfy the stated requirements (e. g. 8(a) set aside, GSA Schedule Award, Full and Open Competition). 3. Pricing for Microsoft Premier Support Services in accordance with the attached Excel Spreadsheet. Responses shall not exceed two (2) single sided pages (excluding the Contractor Pricing Excel Spreadsheet) including attachments, charts, etc. (single spaced, 12 point font minimum) that clearly details the firm's ability to perform the aspects of this notice. Respondents shall use the supplied Microsoft Premier Support Services Excel sheet (Labor Category Listing for Support Services Excel Spreadsheet) and shall not materially alter the Excel sheet. Please submit responses to this Sources Sought Notice electronically (via e-mail) to Keeyada Dickens, Contract Specialist, at keeyada.dickens_contractor@dtra.mil and to Eric Rode, Contract Specialist, at eric.rode@dtra.mil in Microsoft (MS) Word, with the Microsoft Premier Support Services in MS Excel, no later than 4:00PM EST (Eastern Standard Time) on March 09, 2012. The e-mail subject line must specify Sources Sought for Microsoft Premier Support Services. Facsimile responses will not be accepted. All submissions are due no later than 4:00PM EST (Eastern Standard Time) on March 09, 2012. SUBMISSIONS RECEIVED AFTER THIS DATE AND TIME WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
