- Description
- The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) seeks information on commercial vendors that are capable of providing one (1) Base Year and two (2) Option Years maintenance service for two (2) Bruker Biospin Instruments (AV TwinBay 5 Channel 800 & AV TwinBay 5 Channel 700, including CryoPlatform and Magnet Service). After results of this market research are obtained and analyzed and specifications are developed for maintenance service that can meet NIST's minimum requirements, NIST may conduct a competitive procurement and subsequently award a Purchase Order. NIST has a need for one (1) Base Year and two (2) Option Years maintenance service for two (2) Bruker Biospin Instruments (AV TwinBay 5 Channel 800 & AV TwinBay 5 Channel 700, including CryoPlatform and Magnet) that would meet the following requirements: 1. Maintenance Support Plan Requirements: a. Certified and factory trained Bruker Biospin Field Service Engineer. b. On-site service visits with a maximum 72 hours response. c. Engineer labor and travel is included for preventative maintenance and on-site repair. d. One (1) Scheduled Preventative Maintenance visit e. Technical support response time within 1 business day f. Factory-certified replacement parts, including probes accessories, included NIST is seeking responses from all responsible sources, including large, foreign, and small businesses. Small businesses are defined under the associated NAICS code for this effort, 811219, as those domestic sources having an average annual receipt of $19.0 million or less. Please include your company's size classification in any response to this notice. Companies that provide a certified and factory trained Bruker Biospin Field Service Engineer for the maintenance service of the two Bruker Biospin Instruments are requested to email a detailed report describing their abilities to kim.stavish@nist.gov no later than the response date for this sources sought notice. The report should include achievable specifications and any other information relevant to your product or capabilities. Also, the following information is requested to be provided as part of the response to this sources sought notice: 1. Name of the company that provides a certified and factory trained Bruker Biospin Field Service Engineer for the maintenance service for the two (2) Bruker Biospin Instruments for which specifications are provided. 2. Name of company(ies) that are authorized to provide maintenance services for the two (2) Bruker Biospin Instruments, their addresses, and a point of contact for the company (name, phone number, fax number and email address). 3. Indication of whether the maintenance services for which specifications are sent to kim.stavish@nist.gov are currently on one or more GSA Federal Supply Schedule contracts and, if so, the GSA FSS contract number(s). 4. Any other relevant information that is not listed above which the Government should consider in developing its minimum specifications and finalizing its market research.
