- Description
- The US Army Medical Command North Atlantic Regional Contracting Office intends to solicit, negotiate and issue a Firm Fixed Price, sole source award to Marr, Ron for Orthopedic Physician Assistant services at Ireland Army Community Hospital (IACH), Fort Knox, KY. The period of performance is 30 March 2012 through 28 December 2012. Mr. Marr has served as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant at IACH since 2008 and has the requisite background to prepare and complete the Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) packages and related tasks during this nine month period of service. The MEB process is unique to the military. Total hours will not exceed 900. This requirement will be procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13, using simplified acquisition procedures. NAICS code is 621111, size standard of $10M. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Agency. Offerors certain they can meet the requirement may submit in writing an affirmative response and statement of technical capabilities. All written responses must include a written narrative statement of capability, including detailed technical information demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Affirmative written response must be received no later than 1 March 2012.
