- Quotes are being solicited by the USDA, Forest Service from eligible small business firms for tree planting 230 acres on the Dubois Ranger District, Caribou-Targhee National Forest. This project includes furnishing all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government furnished) and incidentals necessary to perform all work necessary to accomplish tree planting in the areas specified. This requirement is being solicited as a fixed price Request for Quote (RFQ) using Commercial Item acquisition procedures under FAR part 12 in conjunction with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR part 13. Quotes are due at 3:00pm MST, April 11, 2012. Work is estimated to begin approximately May 30, 2012. The performance period will be 12 calendar days from the date planting commences. The solicitation will be available on approximately March 12, 2012 and may be downloaded from this site at that time. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) http://www.ccr.gov and shall complete the On-Line Registration and Certifications Application (ORCA) http://orca.bpn.gov. All responsible sources may submit a response to this announcement which will be considered by this agency.
