SF-1449 Contractor is to remove all trees, brush and debris that has been grubbed and placed into piles at the shore disposal pit located on the east side of highway 61 north of the intersection of Hiawatha Drive West in Wabasha MN. The preferred method is to haul all debris to an off site location for disposal by the contractor. As it is near impossible to quantify the amount of debris on site all interested parties are encouraged to conduct a site visit to determine the amount of debris that is to be removed. Disposal of clearing and grubbing debris shall be by one of the following methods: 1. Burning Burning will not be permitted at the project site. 2. Disposal offsite for useful purposes In the interest of conservation, it is required that the Contractor make a reasonable effort to dispose of the material offsite for some useful purpose. Timber may be cut into convenient lengths and utilized for making saw logs, posts, cordwood, wood chips for paper making or other uses, or other similar use. The main areas of debris are identified on the attached map. The trees and brush have been grubbed and placed into piles and must be removed from the site no later than 07 March 2012.
