Description

THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of market research being conducted by the U.S. Air Force to identify capable potential sources. This sources sought is to notify interested companies that the U.S. Air Force is seeking sources for F108/CFM56-2B engine remanufacture. The source should be able to remanufacture and test the F108/CFM56-2B TURBOFAN Engine to produce a serviceable ready for installation engine at the lowest cost and reasonable turnaround time, without any adverse affect to the quality and reliability of the engine. The engine remanufacture also includes the Quick Engine Change kit components and all associated engine accessories. Additionally, the source should have the capability to receive and ship F108-100 engines as well as repair any transportation trailer equipment issues.
