THIS IS A TOTAL 100% SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET ASIDE PROCUREMENT The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) VISN 1 Consolidated Contracting Activity, intends to issue a Request for Proposal to award a single firm fixed price contract to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to replace roofs, gutters and flashing as described in the solicitation specifications and drawings at the following buildings located at Edith Nourse Rogers Veterans Medical Center, 200 Springs Road, Bedford, MA 01730, Project# 518-11-025.: 1.Connecting Corridor Building #1 to Building #2 2.Connecting Corridor Building #7 to Building #8 & Connecting Corridor Building #8 to Building #9 3.Building #78A 4.Buildings #12, #13, #14, #15 & #16 5.Building #2 (High Flat Roofs), Buildings #92,#93,#94,#95 The RFP solicitation with all pertinent documents will be published to www.FBO.gov on or about March 2, 2012. All respondents must be registered in the CCR database at (http://www.ccr.gov) and also be verified by the VA's Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) at the time of submission of offer and at time of award located at (http://vetbiz.gov). Vendors must also complete the online representations and certifications at (http://orca.bpn.gov). Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted on www.FBO.gov and all parties must obtain copies of the amendments thru this website. Hard copies of any documents will not be mailed. Interested parties must go into website and be entered on the Interested Vendor List or to obtain copies of the Interested Vendor List. All questions must be submitted in writing to the issuing office via e:mail to Leanne.Daniels@va.gov. No telephone requests will be accepted. Issue date is tentatively scheduled for March 2, 2012. A pre-proposal/site visit will be announced in the solicitation documents. The date for receipt of offers will be announced in the solicitation documents. Electronic proposals will only be accepted. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $33.5 million. Cost range is between $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00.
