Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is solicitation number W91YTZ-12-T-0050, a request for quotation (RFQ) and Notice of Intent to make an award. This is a non-restricted procurement. Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, 28310, has a requirement for an IM Teknik Development AB RTQ (Removal Torque Machine) in support of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD 2-yr) Residency Program to be delivered not later than 14 weeks after receipt of order. The Government intends to make a Sole Source award to IM Teknik Development. CLIN 0001: IM Teknik Development AB RTQ (Removal Torque Machine) consisting of Z-Brake, Axial Force Minimizer, Radial Force Minimizer, Tool Holder, Tool Converter, Y Brake, X Brake. Specifications: Axial Stroke Z During Setup (mm) 200, Setup Stroke X (mm) 114, Setup Stroke Y (mm) 70, Axial Stroke Z During Test (mm) 18, Max Angular Misalignment (deg) 15, Servomotor Effect (W) 60. Responses will be used to determine whether bonafide competition exists. (b) The use in this solicitation or contract of any DoD FAR Supplement (48 CFR Chapter 2) clause with an authorized deviation is indicated by the addition of "(DEVIATION)" after the name of the regulation. (End of clause) 252.204-7008 EXPORT-CONTROLLED ITEMS (APR 2010) (a) Definition. Export-controlled items, as used in this clause, means items subject to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) (15 CFR parts 730-774) or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 CFR parts 120-130). The term includes: (1) Defense items, defined in the Arms Export Control Act, 22 U.S.C. 2778(j) (4) (A), as defense articles, defense services, and related technical data, and further defined in the ITAR, 22 CFR part 120. (2) Items, defined in the EAR as ``commodities, software, and technology,'' terms that are also defined in the EAR, 15 CFR 772.1. (b) The Contractor shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding export-controlled items, including, but not limited to, the requirement for Contractors to register with the Department of State in accordance with the ITAR.
