Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is solicitation number W91YTZ-12-T-0050, a request for quotation (RFQ) and Notice of Intent to make an award. This is a non-restricted procurement. Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, 28310, has a requirement for an IM Teknik Development AB RTQ (Removal Torque Machine) in support of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD 2-yr) Residency Program to be delivered not later than 14 weeks after receipt of order. The Government intends to make a Sole Source award to IM Teknik Development. CLIN 0001: IM Teknik Development AB RTQ (Removal Torque Machine) consisting of Z-Brake, Axial Force Minimizer, Radial Force Minimizer, Tool Holder, Tool Converter, Y Brake, X Brake. (End of clause) 252.204-7008 EXPORT-CONTROLLED ITEMS (APR 2010) (a) Definition. Export-controlled items, as used in this clause, means items subject to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) (15 CFR parts 730-774) or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 CFR parts 120-130). The term includes: (1) Defense items, defined in the Arms Export Control Act, 22 U.S.C. 2778(j) (4) (A), as defense articles, defense services, and related technical data, and further defined in the ITAR, 22 CFR part 120.
