Description
Green Purchasing Certification Price Schedule RFQ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services and items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation [Request for Quotations (RFQ) No. NRC-HQ-12-R-42-0052] is attached to this synopsis. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-55. This procurement will result in a firm fixed-price type purchase order. This acquisition is conducted using Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13 procedures. Source selection will be based on the lowest-priced offeror that meets the technical and quality requirements in the solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System code is 721110, Hotels (except casino hotels) and motels. The size standard for this procurement is set forth under this NAICS code. The contractor shall provide meeting rooms and audiovisual equipment required to produce the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's "Division of Construction, Inspection, & Operational Programs (DCIP) Workshop on Vendor Oversight for New Reactor Construction" on June 28, 2012 in accordance with the terms and conditions of this solicitation, including the Statement of Work and Price Schedule. PRICE QUOTE Instructions for Submitting a Quotation: 1. Provide your price quote on the attached Excel spreadsheet. The price quotation must include all costs related to the Statement of Work. 2. Complete and sign blocks 30a-30c of the attached SF1449. 3. Complete the attached Green Purchasing Certification. 4. Ensure your concern's Offeror Representations and Certifications are current. Visit https://orca.bpn.gov or provide a completed copy of provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (FEB 2012). 5. Ensure your concern is registered in the CCR database, located on the web at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr. The deadline for questions is 11:00 a.m. EST Tuesday, February 28, 2012. All quotations are due Wednesday, February 29, 2012 by 11:00 a.m. EST, electronically to Nancy.Lamon-Kritikos@nrc.gov. Offerors are responsible for technical difficulties and or administrative problems associated with transmission of the files to the NRC. Solicitation NRC-HQ-12-R-42-0052 is distributed through the FedBizOpps website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov.) The FedBizOpps website provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through the FedBizOpps website. Hard copies of the solicitation document and its related documents will not be available. Because this RFQ will be posted on this website, interested parties are instructed NOT to call, send letters, e-mails or faxes requesting the RFQ. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website to assure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The NRC requires the prospective awardee to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of the resulting contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration. Processing time, which normally takes 1-5 days, should be taken into consideration when registering. Potential Offerors who are not registered should consider applying for registration immediately if interested in responding to this solicitation. Potential Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The Government will not reimburse interested parties for any costs associated with responding to this business opportunity.
