- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE SOLICITATION THOROUGHLY. A QUOTE WHICH DOES NOT INCLUDE ALL THE REQUESTED INFORMATION AND COPIES MAY BE REJECTED. Solicitation No. A12PS00544 herein cited will be procured under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-53. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541990 with a small business size standard of $7.0 Million. The selected contractor must be able to pass a background check. One will be performed prior to start of work, so please ensure that the proposed employee will be able to pass. Haskell Indian Nations University is seeking a contractor to perform as a Alumni Relations Coordinator within the President's Office for Haskell Indian Nations University. General functions are included in the Statement of Work. NOTE: For a copy of the Statement of Work, please e-mail janice.begay@bie.edu no later than 21February 2012. Qualified contractors are requested to provide the following as part of their proposal: 1. A cost proposal for the period beginning March 2012 through 28 February 2013 and three option years. 2. Evidence of contractor's experience working on similar projects. 3. Letters of support and/or references from contractor's previous clients and/or contracts, including current contact information. In addition to the above, an original signed and dated quote, accompanied with contractor's DUNS number, and a completed copy of FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, mailed to the DOI-BIE Haskell Indian Nations University, Division of Acquiisition, Attention: Janice Begay, 155 Indian Ave #5006, Lawrence, KS 66046 by close of business, Central Standard Time, February 27, 2012. Past experience will be weighted more heavily than past performance and/or price. The University reserves the right to award to other than the low priced offeror if another offeror is considered more qualified. All evaluation factors other than cost or price, when combined, are significantly more important than cost or price.
