DESCRIPTION This is a Sources Sought Notice only. The Veterans Affairs Sierra Pacific Network is performing market research to determine if there are any Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Women Owned Small Businesses and Small Businesses that can provide Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Site Visit program where the main focus is on healthcare quality improvement and provide actual in-person interaction between VA executives and seminar trainers. The training program is focus on direct interaction between executives, managers and front line staff for the purpose of learning from their healthcare journey for continuous improvement, improving outcomes, and delivering better quality of care at higher value. The quality improvement needs to incorporate the principles of the Toyota Production System with a focus on improving quality safety and meeting the customer's needs. There will be 35 attendees/participants from Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 21. In order to meet the needs of the attendees, the Contractor shall provide site visits to see continuous improvement in specific units, departments or sites. The Contractor shall provide opportunities for attendees to see problems implement countermeasures, measure progress and sustain improvement over time. The Contractor shall provide attendees with successful examples that have been implemented to create a culture of continuous improvement. The Contractor shall have access to local healthcare facilities in which to conduct the seminar training. The Contractor shall also provide a 30-day follow up with attendees to measure progress toward organizational change. The Contractor shall provide grounds transportation to and from site visit locations. The Seminar shall be conducted from May 24 to May 25, 2012. Travel dates for attendees shall be May 23 and May 25. There is no solicitation document as this time. The NACIS code is 541618 and Small Business size is $7.0 million.
