- Sources Sought Notice for PMSW Contract Services. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATIONFOR PROPOSALS. The U.S. Army Contracting Command New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal is conducting market research to identify potential sources to provide support for the following: The U.S. Army Product Manager for Crew Served Weapons (PM CSW) requires support to conduct necessary engineering design and analysis to ensure proposed design improvements to XM806 weapons are technically sound. The contractor will clean and refurbish three (3) government-furnished weapons and install redesigned hardware components. The contractor shall identify, furnish and install any additional ancillary hardware deemed necessary to make the weapons fully functional to facilitate live fire testing at their facility. The contractor shall perform all necessary inspections prior to live fire testing. The weapons shall then be fired to 50,000 rounds each to assess the functionality, reliability and durability of the weapon systems with the proposed hardware. Interested sources should provide a brief description of information relative to knowledge/abilities to provide the support sought, and provide a point of contact for questions with telephone number and email address. Interested firms should also provide their address, CAGE code and type of business (Small, Large, 8(a), Hub Zone small business or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business). All interested offerors are required to submit their capabilities/qualification data electronically to: Email: david.decandia@us.army.mil. The Government will also accept any written questions via the aforementioned email address. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Any hardcopy information provided will not be returned. Please provide the following answers to the below vendor questionnaire: 1. Company Name, 2. Company address, 3. Company point of contact and phone number, 4. The North Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 541330. Based on this information, is your business a small business? This is a market survey only and should not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment by the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey. This is no formal solicitation at this time. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U.S. Government. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this survey or results of information submitted. Albeit this Market Survey shall formally close on 01 March 2012, the Government respectfully requests that all responsible, interested sources submit their capabilities/qualification data and pertinent information on or before 23 February 2012.
