Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Advanced Occupational Education Culinary Arts Program Services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Dix, New Jersey, located on Hartford Road, Fort Dix, New Jersey. The program will include courses in culinary arts, food preparation and services, and Serv-Safe certification. Total classes will consist of an estimated 600 one (1) hour sessions per year, with a minimum class size of 20 registrants. Contractors will be required to be accredited by a state college, institution, and/or university system. The contract shall consist of a base year with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be made available on or about February 17, 2012 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is March 14, 2012. Anticipated date of award is in March of 2012. This will be a full and open competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
