- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source one year purchase order and is not a request for competitive proposals under the Statutory Authority of FAR 6.302-1and 206-302-1.The government intends to solicit a quote and enter into a contract with Healthcare Clinical Consultants doing business as Theornyx, located in California, 91320-6184, DUNS# 112147702. Due to the proprietary nature of this requirement, Theronyx is the only known vendor who can provide continued and uninterrupted maintenance support services. The OPUS-RT is a proprietary customized software and hardware that will streamline the workflow process of distributing clinical patients and order information to the respiratory therapist. This system has been configured to interface with various NIH systems particularly the hospital information system known as CRIS and a charge interface that provides the Clinical Center with protocol attribution based on the activity. The offeror shall provide a standard maintenance for all associated upgrades, hotfixes and preventive maintenance updates during the maintenance period that runs for one year (12 months) under this contract without interruption for all clinical center patients. This proposed order shall represent the best value to the Government. The incumbent will be required to submit its price quote.The Government shall consider all responses received prior to the close date of this announcement. Small businesses are encouraged to respond to this notice if they are capable to meet the needs of this requirement. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. The proposed award date will be on or before March 1, 2012.
