- Description
- Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award on a competitive basis, under FAR Parts 12 and 15, a firm fixed unit priced requirements type commercial contract for certification training (Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Java) for a 9-12 Software Application Curriculum. This requirement for certification preparation courseware includes but is not limited to, providing exam certification, on-line training materials, webinars, practice tests, and on-line training for an overview of all attributes of the courseware. Contractor will be required to provide current version of software, three versions prior, and the newest version as it becomes available. Contractors must be a Microsoft and Adobe partner or must show their courseware alignment with Microsoft and Adobe objectives. Contractor must be able to provide on-going assistance and communication. The award will be a best value decision and the period of performance is one 12-month base year and four option years beginning June 2012. Release of solicitation HE1254-12-R-0002 is scheduled on or about 7 days after this notice. This solicitation is unrestricted; however, small businesses, small disadvantaged business, and women owned businesses are encouraged to participate. Contractors will be required to submit a small business plan with their proposal. Contractors must be registered in the Federal Government's website at www.ccr.gov. Inquiries about this solicitation will not be responded to until the solicitation has been posted. All instructions for submitting questions are included in the solicitation. Vendors are responsible for downloading the solicitation, all of the supporting documents, and any applicable amendments posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at http://www.fbo.gov. Amendments may be posted to FedBizOpps up until the response due date. Vendors are responsible to watch FedBizOpps for any further announcements.
