Description
THE SOLICITATION HAS BEEN RE-OPENED FROM FEB 3, 2012 TO FEB 22, 2012. The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 203 NSNs with various item descriptions and end items in the Federal Stock Classes (FSCs) 2510, 2530, 2540, and 2590. This project is composed of miscellaneous vehicle hardware parts (i.e. storage boxes, wheel hubs, vehicle ladders, etc.). An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with a base year and 4 options years is anticipated. The total duration base plus option years shall not exceed 5 years. Applicable NAICS is 336211 for FSC 2510 and 336399 for FSCs 2530, 2540, and 2590. Small Business Size standard is 750 for 336399 and 1000 for 336211. Solicitation will be full and open competition after exclusion of sources as a 100% small business set aside. The solicitation will be available FROM FEB 3 TO FEB 22, 2012 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/frp/. Hard copies are not available. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB Destination is required. Inspection/Acceptance requirements will be noted on the RFP. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery as described in the solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. Interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. For any applicable items, interested parties may obtain copies of Military and Federal Specifications and Standards, Qualified Product Lists, Military Handbooks, and other standardization documents from the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP), in Philadelphia, PA. Most documents are available in Adobe PDF format from the ASSIST database via the Internet at http://assist.daps.mil. Users may search for documents using the ASSIST-Quick Search and, in most cases, download the documents directly via the Internet using standard browser software. Documents not available for downloading from ASSIST can be ordered from the DODSSP using the ASSIST Shopping Wizard, after establishing a DODSSP Customer Account by following the registration procedures or by phoning the DODSSP Special Assistance Desk at (215) 697-2179 (DSN: 442-2179).
