- Sources Sought Solicitation Situation: The Fort Benning Georgia Maneuver Center of Excellence is seeking non-personal services to support the United States Army Infantry School (USAIS), 197th Infantry Brigade. The services consist of, but not limited to, the school's training involvement in the development of doctrine, training methodologies, and future concepts for current and future forces. The Chief of Staff, Army's establishment of Transformation as the Army's highest priority during the conduct of the current War on Terrorism dictated the dedication of resources to ensure Infantry forces in the current and future forces are equipped, manned and trained. Transformation includes modularity, Future Combat Systems, and the current force as the Army introduces lessons learned and changes based upon new doctrine and materiel. This contracting action is in direct support of the on-going war efforts and unit's operational readiness. Term for this type contract typically is one year (base year) and one or more optional periods, typically one year each option period. Scope of Work Synopsis. In support of the 1st Battalion, 29th Infantry Regiment, the Contractor will provide training support in all areas of the Bradley Master Gunner J3 Course, Infantry Doctrine and Training Analysis. The Contractor will provide Bradley Leader Course Infantry Doctrine and Training Analysis, Safety Officer (s) and Range Operations support to the Bradley Leader Courses and Stryker Courses. SITUATIONAL AWARENESS: The requirement will require all instructors be qualified and certified on Heavy Brigade Combat Team (HBCT)/Vehicle Crew Evaluator Exportable Packet (VCEEP) standards (U.S. Army Field Manual 3-20.21) SEPT 09 and Infantry Doctrine and Training Analysis. These mandatory qualifications are obtained by personnel (typically military personnel from the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps) who have completed the Bradley Master Gunner A3 and J3 Courses. THESE ARE MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS THAT MAY NOT BE WAIVED. In the event a solicitation (request for proposal) is issued for the requirement, terms and conditions of the solicitation will require certification by the offeror that the offeror has or can provide qualified instructors within fifteen (15) calendar days from an advisory notice of proposal acceptance. Q&A: The primary objective of this Sources Sought Solicitation is to identify qualified instructors as described above. Limited questions pertaining to this Sources Sought Solicitation until one (1) day prior to the response date listed in this notice.
