Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Nidwest Aircraft of Plainfield, Indiana for the procurement of the following tools used to maintain the Rolls Royce AE 1107C engine of V-22 A/C: SERD 7245, Adapter Mounting Fwd/Aft Engine Handling, NIIN 01-527-6092, P/N 23066613 - Qty 65 SERD 7246, Set Rem/Inst Seals, NIIN 01-527-8837, P/N 23066614 - Qty 4 SERD 7250, Adapter Yoke, FWD, Engine Handling Mount, NIIN 01-527-6098, P/N 23066618 - Qty 18 SERD 7251, Adapter, Attaching, AFT engine handling mount, NIIN 01-527-6099, P/N 23066619 - Qty 11 The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
