- VA258-12-I-0186 RFI Electrophoresis Test Equipment Maintenance This is a sources sought announcement only and is not a request for proposals or quotes. The Department of Veterans Affairs New Mexico VA Health Care System in Albuquerque is seeking to determine market availability of a qualified Field Service Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs, including updates/upgrades to the Phoresis operating systems, on three separate pieces of Sebia, Inc. Electrophoresis equipment. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this notice that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to this notice are not offers, and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice. If any offeror can demonstrate authorization from Sebia along with the requisite qualifications for work on the instrumentation mentioned, please provide proof. Firms/Companies with interest and capability responding to this request for information should develop a short narrative including relevant documentation, specific evidence, and any other information demonstrating the capacity to successfully fulfill the stated requirement. Interested parties should submit company information along with the narrative described via email or fax to Barbara Cox, Contract Specialist; email: barbara.cox2@va.gov; fax: 432-268-5001. Company information must include business type, i.e., Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, Woman-Owned Business, Small Business, etc. Information should be provided no later than Friday, December 2, 2011 at 12:00 PM (noon).
