Description

This is a special notice that Naval Special Warfare Command, San Diego, CA intends to procure sole source with Skydive Arizona, 4900 N Taylor Street, Eloy, AZ 85131-9759 under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. NAICS code 611620 applies to this procurement with corresponding small business size of $7.0 million. This firm fixed price contract is for period of performance 06-10 FEB 2012 for jump tickets, vertical wind tunnel time, vertical wind tunnel instruction, and canopy course of instruction to support the Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) Navy Parachute Team (NPT) for members to become proficient in vertical relative work for the purpose of safe aerial demonstrations. This special notice is not a request for competitive quotations. This award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. No solicitations will be made available. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
