- Description
- JOFOC The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Midstates Area Procurement Office intends to issue on a sole source basis with Maximum Throughput Technologies for: refurbishing, connecting, and reinstalling existing Max 2100S web cleaning units and existing Max 2100S IBM exhaust hoods in Detroit, MI AND refurbishing and reinstalling Max 2100 systems for paper dust, toner dust extraction, and filtration in Ogden, UT. The service required can only be performed by Maximum Throughput Technologies because the equipment must be brought up to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards and the vendor is the manufacturer of the equipment. The NAICS for this requirement is 333411. The resulting purchase order will be for an anticipated dollar value of $50,000.00 and service shall commence on or before March 1, 2012. The Government intends to solicit and award with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any other interested organizations must submit a written statement of their capabilities and qualifications to fulfill this requirement to the identified point of contact as soon as possible, but not later than 8:00 am (CST) on February 7, 2012. Faxed and e-mailed statements are acceptable, but the senders bear full responsibility to ensure complete transmission and timely receipt. Any such statement of capabilities and qualifications received by the deadline will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
