Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division is issuing this announcement which serves as a Sources Sought Synopsis issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation nor is this a request for quotations. Please do not submit a quote or proposal in response to this synopsis. This sources sought/market survey is seeking interested businesses for competitive consideration. The Naval Surface Warfare Center is seeking information on interested businesses to determine the sizes and types of businesses available for a firm fixed-price contract for providing the following �Handheld Infrared Cameras �. The applicable NAICS code is 333314 with a size standard of 500 employees. All interested firms should provide capability statements which include identification of company size and socio-economic status. As stipulated in FAR 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. Responses shall be sent via email to: Marlena.warren@navy.mil and must be received no later than 4:00 PM PST Wednesday, February 8, 2012. *** Modification to include specifications for IR Cameras, to be used for Market Research purposes only, see attached document.
