Description
The FAA Eastern Logistics Service Area, Boston Office currently has a new construction effort for the design, fabrication,delivery and installation of a 37 foot Remote Transmitter Receiver (RTR) Antenna Tower at the T.F. Green Airport, Warwick, RI. All work shall be done in accordance with the Specifications and Drawing as further described in Part III-Section J of this Screening Information Request (SIR) All work must be done in accordance with specifications, drawings and associated documents. This solicitation is 100% set aside for Small Business Concerns with the NAIC code of 238120 (Structural Steel and Precast Concrete Contractors) with a size standard of $14.0 Million The performance period is sixty (60) calendar days. The Request for Offer (RFO), including specifications, drawing and accociated documents are attached to the announcement. All documents are available in PDF format and may be viewed with the applicable version of adobe acrobat. This is a negotiated procurement that will result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The price range for this requirement is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. Performance and Payment bonds are required. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short Term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
