- Description
- Statement of Work The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is requesting information to assist in developing strategies for acquiring printing capabilities on behalf of the Military Geographic and Hydrometeorologic Office in the Czech Republic via Foreign Military Sales (FMS). NGA is requesting information from companies that have experience in purchasing, exporting, installing, maintaining, and training in the use of, digital print production equipment. NGA would prefer a turn-key solution to satisfy the draft Statement of Work requirements. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed-price contract will be appropriate to procure the equipment and services. The NAICS code for this potential effort is 333293. This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, or Request for Quotations. No solicitation exists at this time and there is no guarantee that a formal solicitation will be issued by the Government as a result of responses to this RFI. This RFI does not commit the Government to award a contract. In accordance with FAR 52.215-3, the Government will not pay for any information/items submitted in response to this RFI. Responses to this RFI may not include proprietary information. Data will not be returned. Questions regarding the submission of this RFI must be submitted via e-mail to Mr. Ronald Hart at Ronald.G.Hart@nga.mil. Please submit all questions no later than 4 days before the due date of this RFI. The Government will entertain questions on a case by case basis, and any responses will be posted on FedBizOpps for all respondents to view, without identifying the requesting organization. All interested parties should respond to this RFI by e-mail to Ronald.G.Hart@nga.mil. Respondents should provide the following information: 1. Company name and address, CAGE code, business size and status, a point of contact (POC), and POC telephone/fax/e-mail. 2. Are you interested as a prime contractor or as a subcontractor? 3. Information on whether your company can manage, or has managed, a task of this nature for a foreign customer. 4. A list of current or past projects demonstrating technical experience with work of a similar nature. For each project submitted, please provide a brief narrative statement of the work involved, your firm's role, the project's dollar value, and the project's completion date. 5. Is there another suggested NAICS code? If yes, please provide. 6. The estimated costs required to achieve the Government's requirements and schedule. 7. Do you have a GSA Schedule contract for this effort? If yes, please provide the contract number. The submission is requested no later than 2:00 p.m., Eastern Daylight Time, on February 24, 2012.
