Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) located at 260 Industrial Way West, Eatontown, New Jersey 07724 intends to award a 12-month firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract to Halfaker and Associates LLC to add new capabilities and features to the existing VetGovPartner (VGP) website. This will enhance the 2012 National Veteran Small Business Conference attended experience. The enhancements shall focus on the following areas of attendee experience: profiles, communication and notifications, events and activities, usability, market research, opportunity showcase, attendance, search and reporting, and administrative interface. Support services to include training and portal technical support are required. This effort is issued under the authority of 38 U.S.C. 8127(c), Veterans First Contracting Program. Contracts awarded using this authority are supported by written justifications as required by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-5, "Authorized or required by statute". Performance will be at the Contractor's facility. Deliverables are to be FOB Destination with Inspection/Acceptance at Destination. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541511 with the corresponding small business size standard of $25,000,000.00. The solicitation number assigned to this effort is VA118-12-R-0177 and will be issued on or about January 31, 2012. An award date no later than February 10, 2012 is desired.
