- DLA Aviation anticipates an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity(IDIQ) Contract with a five year ordering period for the following item: PR Number(s): FD20201290146Item: 0001NSN: 1560010502290FJ TANK, FUEL, AIRCRAFTP/N: 62392-11, P/N: 2FI-6-40930-15, P/N: 2FI-6-40930-11, Description: TANK,FUEL,AIRCRAFT| A-10| AS DIFFERENTIATED BY SOURCECONTROL DRAWING NUMBERApplicable to: A-10The best estimated maximum quantity for the entire 5 year contractordering period is 250 EA with a minimum quantity of 1 EA.Destn: SW3215,BARSTOW,CA,92311-5014. Delivery: 4 EA per month Duration of Contract Period: 5 YEARS Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: AMERICAN FUEL CELL AND COATED FABRI, MAGNOLIA, AR.,71753-0887. To:MEGGITT (ROCKMART), INC., ROCKMART, GA.,30153-2554. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, orquotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Based upon market research, the Government is not using policiescontained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in itssolicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interestedparties may identify to the contracting officer their interest andcapability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercialitem within 15 days of this notice. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services)required are available from only one or a limited number of responsiblesource(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agencyrequirements.The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which theGovernment intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limitednumber of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested personsmay identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirementor submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request forcompetitive proposals. However, all proposals received withinforty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basicordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will beconsidered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not tocompete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice issolely within the discretion of the Government. Information receivedwill normally be considered solely for the purpose of determiningwhether to conduct a competitive procurement. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested insubcontracting opportunities in connection with the describedprocurement make contact with the firm(s) listed.First article test required.Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or themanufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award inaccordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies theoffice where additional information can be obtained concerningqualification requirements are cited in each individual solicitation.To include all required reports and data.This part must be acquired from a manufacturing sources(s) specified ona source control or selected item drawing as defined by the currentversion of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, government datarights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permitacquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of anotherpart, nor use of a second source part in the intended application.Although, by DoD-STD-100 definition, altered and selected items shallhave an adequate technical data package, data review discloses thatrequired data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannotbe economically obtained.
