- FOR ALL INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT: Larran Frasier (see below) 443-395-7005 larran.w.frasier@mail.mil The U.S. Government is seeking sources of supply for Switchboards for potential Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to the country of Lebanon. Due to the type of funding, responses are limited to US manufacturers. The purpose of this Market Research is to identify interested sources that can provide/manufacture and deliver Switchboards that meet the Desired Capabilities contained in the attached document. Reponses are not limited to the Desired Capabilities; like and similar Switchboards are acceptable. Provide product specifications, part numbers, literature, technical data sheets, pictures or brochures and links to Web sites containing such information are preferred if available. Switchboards should meet Quality standard: ISO 9001-2000 Estimated quantities are 40 Switchboards. Provide quantity discount pricing. Provide Cage Code and DUNN's number. Company must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Responses are required by 10 Feb 2012. Desired Capabilities Digital Switchboard The digital switch board must be fully integrated into wired and radio networks and PSTN, providing numerous interfaces such as radio, Integrated Services Digital Network-Primary Rate Interface (ISDN PRI), Integrated Services Digital Network-Basic Rate Interface (ISDN BRI), Ear & Mouth (telephone signaling) (E&M) and Central Office (CO). Tactical digital field exchange enables communication between PBXs, digital tactical Units, videophones, radios etc. Interoperation with existing wired and radio networks and PSTN (public switch telephone network). General Specification A - Hardware Features - Ruggedized and tested against the following: -15oC to +45oC 95% relative humidity at 45oC Vibration and drop Salt, sand and dust Rain and Water splash Corrosion Acid and industrial waste -Redundant architecture (processor and power convertor cards) - Internal power supply in 12/24 V DC and 220 V AC feeds - Military Connectors - Hot swappable Modules - Scalable architecture (56 - 220 users) - Combat net radio (CNR) interface B- Interfaces - Central local battery analogue lines - CO trunk - ISDN BRI - 2 wire / 4 wire E&M - Voice processing card Technical Features - Power: 220 V AC 50 Hz or 12/24 V DC - Standards: ITU - TG 711 - Q552, Q553, Q931, MIL-STD-810 E/F C-Software Features PBX Features: - Calling Line Identity Presentation (CLIP) - Calling Line Identity Restriction (CLIR) - Call Originating Line Presentation (COLP) - Call Originating Line Restriction (COLR) - Call Transfer - Abbreviated Dialing - Group Dialing - Hot Line - Call Waiting - Call Hold - Call Restriction -6 Party Conference Calls - Broadcast - Precedence / Preemption - Call Pickup - Operator features: Announcement recording, listening and deleting Listed & unlisted announcement broadcast Voice Recording / Processing Features: - Voice mail deletion, listening, recording and forwarding capabilities for authorized users. - Automated greeting messages - Voice recording Digital Terminal Features: - Open architecture for encrypted communication - Water, dust and vibration proof - SDN BRI Interface - Central Power feed, local feed for long distances - V.24X24 Interfaces - LCD Display D- Operation and Maintenance O&M can be done using a PC via keypad/display on the front panel. Tactical Digital Field Exchange provides visual and audible alarms for the operator. Tactical Digital Field Exchange front panel provides the following operation indicators: operator warning, alarm, operational, and low battery.
