- Requirements Details of response T-38 Functional Systems Integrated Database (FSID) Server Solicitation Number: FA8211-12-R-FSID Agency: Department of the Air Force Office: Air Force Materiel Command Location: Hill AFB OO-ALC Synopsis: Sources Sought Synopsis T-38 Functional Systems Integrated Database (FSID) Server Host Support This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS), no solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the US Government to form a binding contract. Companies that respond will not be paid for the information submitted. The Air Force is hereby soliciting capability statements from interested sources for the Engineering Services Contract in support of T-38 Functional Systems Integrated Database (FSID) Server Host Support located at Hill AFB, UT. 1. PURPOSE: The purpose of this SSS is to gather comments and potential sources for hosting services for T-38 FSID as detailed on attached Request for Information. 2. BACKGROUND: This web based server and data based server is currently providing T-38 Functional Systems Integrated Database (FSID) server host support. The contract for it will be expiring 30 September 2012. The FSID provides the ability to quickly and effectively inform management of the background necessary to formulate and evaluate options for managing issues with the T-38 mechanical systems. Web hosting of FSID has brought the T-38 mechanical Equipment and Subsystems Integrity Program (MECSIP) in compliance with many requirements within MIL-STD-1798. 3. POTENTIAL OFFERORS: Interested parties need to provide demonstrated experience for this requirement by providing responses to the following: A. Data rights: providing examples of strategies used for developing arrangements with Licensee/Licensor. B. Working to the guidelines of the attached Request for Information C. Must provide a secure.mil URL and must be an approved and accredited DOD Enclave and be able to provide inheritable Information Assurance Controls for DIACAP Certification and Accreditation. D. Expertise in the ports, protocols and services required in the RFI and experience with the server configuration as listed in the RFI. E. Expertise and direct experience with the list of required software and the installation of it as listed in the RFI. F. Be able to meet the user requirements as listed in the RFI for the user, backing up the data. 4. INFORMATION/FORMAT: Potential offerors are requested to provide information on current services meeting the needs of the Air Force in supporting the requirement, or relevant history and evidence of past performance/capability. The Air Force is expecting that the requirement to provide information on current or past services meeting the needs of the Air Force will demonstrate that the offeror's infrastructure and integration capability exists to provide all aspects of this task to include the following: • Company name and associated CAGE code • Point of contact name and number • Business status (8(a), Small, HUBZone, Woman-owned, Service Disabled Vet Owned Small Business, etc.) • Qualifications/Certification/Aircraft Experience level of employees 5. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS: Please submit two copies of your response to the Sources Sought Synopsis in an executive summary format not to exceed five (5) pages. If your response includes information you consider proprietary, please mark the information in accordance with regulatory guidance.
