Description
This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY; no proposals are requested at this time. No draft Request for Proposals (RFP) or Statement of Work (SOW) will be available prior to release of the solicitation. The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), Quantico, VA has a requirement to procure Tactical Fuel Systems - Logistics Support (TFS-LS) and Water Supply Support Equipment (WSSE-LS) for the Ground Transportation and Engineering Product Group. This acquisition is for commercial items as defined in FAR part 2.1. One or more firm fixed-price contracts with one base year and four options years may be awarded. MCSC anticipates in the event of multiple awards that requirements will be competed at the delivery order level. Each basic contract will not exceed $90 million. This procurement will be conducted as a total small business set aside. The NAICS code is 333999. Awards will be made using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) approach. Technically acceptable requirements will be set forth in the RFP. The Government intends to release RFP No. M67854-12-R-5024 on or near February 1, 2012 via the internet at the Navy Electronic Commerce Online NECO) website at http://www.neco.navy.mil and the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The online version of the RFP will include all documents of the solicitation package. No hard copy of the RFP is available at this time. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the RFP. The complete RFP package, including amendments, should be downloaded and reviewed prior to submitting a response. ALL COMMUNICATION SHALL BE MADE VIA E-MAIL WITH THE CONTRACTING OFFICE. In order to be eligible for award, interested parties must be registered into the Central Contractor Database (CCR), http://www.ccr.gov.
