Description
1 DECEMBER 2011: 1. ESC/HSJK invites your organization to submit a proposal for the Special Programs Security Support II (SPSS II) Request for Proposal (RFP) acquisition as set forth in the attached RFP. We are seeking the most effective, productive, and efficient approach to fulfill the SPSS II requirements. 2. We've invited and appreciated your ideas and comments since the inception of this acquisition. There are many aspects of this acquisition that have evolved during the pre-solicitation process, many as a result of discussions with offerors during the pre-solicitation process. Your input has helped us to prepare a better solicitation. 3. This final RFP supersedes all previously released material to include questions/comments and answers/responses. Due to revisions contained in the final RFP, potential offerors are advised to read the final RFP carefully. Communications between Government and industry regarding this solicitation should be addressed only through the Procuring Contracting Officer, Capt Brian Hurley, at 781-225-0325 or email brian.hurley@hanscom.af.mil. Please place the following addressee in the "CC:" section of email correspondence: carolina.pogue@hanscom.af.mil. 4. Every effort has been made to enhance competition. We welcome all interested competitors and will give fair consideration to all proposals. Proposals are due at 1:00 PM EST, 5 January 2012. Thank you for your interest in the Special Programs Security Support II (SPSS II) acquisition. 29 APRIL 2011: 1. The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis is to determine if there are any businesses capable of providing the supplies and services described in the attached document. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This sources sought synopsis is being released by the United States Air Force, Electronic Systems Center (ESC), HSJK. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought is strictly voluntary. This sources sought does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this sources sought. All contractual inquiries shall be directed to Ms. Carol Pogue, e-mail: carolina.pogue@hanscom.af.mil;! all technical inquiries shall be directed to Mr. Gary Perkins, e-mail: gary.perkins@hanscom.af.mil. 2. The Government is interested in conducting information exchanges with industry in acquiring non-personal contractor support that provides the required and appropriately skilled Special Program Security Support (SPSS) services needed to continuously meet the mission and a broad range of systems acquisition support for the ESC Special Access Program (SAP) Center. The express intent of this Sources Sought Synopsis is to identify potential industry partners who have a working and demonstrable technical expertise and capability to provide services as described in the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS). Please refer to the attached Sources Sought document for specific objectives and necessary information. Responsible sources having relevant experience may submit their statement of interest and capabilities, including business size standard, CAGE Code and DUNS number, via e-mail to carolina.pogue@hanscom.af.mil not later than 2:00 PM (Eastern Time), 27 May 2011.! Responses received after this date and time may not be reviewed. The Government requests that interested offerors submit an electronic response of not more than ten (10) one-sided pages, 8.5"x11" paper, with 12 point font and a minimum of one (1) inch margins. Contractor format is acceptable. Total file size shall not exceed 5MB. Please indicate if you are one of the following: Small Business, Small Disadvantage Business (SDB), Section 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Women Owned Small Business.
