Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Cost Plus Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-08-G-0010 on a sole source basis with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. This effort will include all labor and materials required for developing, testing and fielding an unguided and guided rockets capability on the MH-60 Sierra aircraft. Efforts include the development, test and limited deployment of a Digital Rocket Launcher (DRL) capable of firing 2.75" unguided and guided rockets on the MH-60 Sierra aircraft. This effort is intended to encompass Options for recalibration, engineering analysis, and support for flight test events. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements;" because they are the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the MH-60S design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner.
