- Description
- As posted in the Source Sought Synopsis HSCG40-12-S-30001, entitled; "Pumps and Pump Units for Overhaul of USCG Vessels" dated 09/21/2011, the U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, LRE Product Line, will be issuing a solicitation to overhaul Pumps and Pump Units installed on the 110 foot WPB, 160 foot WLIC, 282 foot WMEC, 378 foot WHEC, 418 foot WMSL, and the 420 foot WAGB. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price, Multiple Requirements contract containing one (1) Base Year and four (4) Option Years will be awarded using the procedures outlined in FAR Part 12.203. It is the Government's intent to solicit this requirement under NAICS 333911. This requirement must be completed utilizing only genuine parts from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) listed in the solicitation. Remanufactured or Aftermarket parts are not acceptable. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps on or about January 31, 2012. This date is estimated at best, and it is the contractor's responsibility to monitor FedBizOpps on a regular basis for the solicitation and any amendments. All questions regarding this notice shall be submitted, in writing, to: jennifer.r.blount@uscg.mil, by the closing date of the notice.
