Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Vetrans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Ann Arbor Healthcare System, is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Preventative Maintenance and Repair services in support of the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. NAICS code is 811219, size standard is $19 million. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to negotiate on a sole source basis with Calypso Medical Technologies Inc., 2101 4th Ave, Suite 500, Seattle, WA for this requirement due to Calypso Medical Technologies being the original equipment manufacturer and the proprietary nature of the hardware and software involved. The contractor shall provide all supplies, labor, knowledge, techniques, supervision, test equipment and analysis necessary to perform the preventative maintenance, 24 hour telephonic support, and repairs as required by the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105 for the period from contract award date through September 30, 2012 with four (4) one year options. This procurement will be conducted with the procedures in FAR part 13. Proposals are due no later than 3:00PM (EST) on the 31st of January 2012.
