THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR BID. THE GOVERNMENT IS SEEKING INFORMATION FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. The VA Pacific Islands Health Care System, Honolulu, HI, is conducting market research for the following socio-economic categories: (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision etc. necessary for an Invitation for Bid to construct an approximately 1600 SY Parking Lot, sidewalks, drainage structures, and associated appurtenances and work at VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic, located at Fiatele Teo Army Reserve Bldg, Pago Pago, AS. The work includes, but is not limited to, excavation and fill operations to establish a graded and compacted subbase, installation of a compacted and graded granular base course; installation of a finish surface of asphalt or concrete as described in the specifications and drawings. Contractor shall also install drainage structures, sidewalks, handrails, sod, and conduct other associated work. The estimated construction cost range for this project is between $100,000 and 250,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238110 with a size standard of $14.0 Million. SDVOSB and VOSB who are interested in performing this work as a prime contractor and can provide bonding for a project in the cost range outlined above should e-mail linda.miller442c9@va.gov to notify the Government of your interest in this project. Subject line of e-mail should read "MARKET RESEARCH - 459-12-104". Include what small business program you qualify for, i.e. SDVOSB or VOSB and bonding capacity.
