- This is a Sources Sought Notice. This notice is a mechanism for obtaining feedback from industry in regard to the general requirement stated below. THIS IS NOT A SYNOPSIS FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Rather, it is a market research tool to determine potential sources for future surgical requirements. The Government is not obligated to, nor will the Government pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. The US Army Medical Command, Southern Region Contracting Office - East is seeking interest from potential sources for the following: Ossatron System Extracorporeal Shock Wave Technology system (must meet FDA approval) mobile unit with certified technician for the treatment of chronic plantar fasciitis (heel pain) and chronic lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow). Services rendered one predetermined day per month on varying numbers of patients. Please provide per each patient pricing for unilateral treatment of chronic plantar fasciitis, bilateral treatment of chronic plantar fasciitis, unilateral treatment of chronic lateral epicondylitis and bilateral treatment of chronic lateral epicondylitis. Pricing is to include all cost to cover but not limited to mobile unit, technician, and mileage. This is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. However, companies that can provide an equal or like product must submit their technical capabilities to include technical specifications of their product, past performance information, price and delivery time within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. This information will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives from Eisenhower Army Medical Center for consideration for future requirements. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Point of Contact: Linda M.
