- It is the Government's intent to acquire a new supply contract for Microwave Adapters. Any resultant contract will be firm, fixed-price. This requirement is for microwave adapters to be utilized by Army calibration facilities while repairing general purpose test measurement and diagnostic equipment. The adapters required are as follows: Adapter 1: 2.4mm (Female) to 2.4mm (Male) Right Angle (90 ) Adapter, 161 each Connection 1: 2.4mm (Female) Connection 2: 2.4mm (Male) Geometry: Right Angle (90 ) Minimum Frequency Range: DC-50GHz Nominal Impedance: 50 ohms Maximum VSWR: 1.3:1 Adapter 2: 3.5mm (Male) to 2.4mm (Female) Straight Adapter, 117 each Connection 1: 3.5mm (Male) Connection 2: 2.4mm (Female) Geometry: Straight Minimum Frequency Range: DC-26.5GHz Nominal Impedance: 50 ohms Maximum VSWR: 1.25:1 Adapter 3: 3.5mm (Female) to 2.4mm (Male) Straight Adapter, 117 each Connection 1: 3.5mm (Female) Connection 2: 2.4mm (Male) Geometry: Straight Minimum Frequency Range: DC-26.5GHz Nominal Impedance: 50 ohms Maximum VSWR: 1.25:1 The adapters will be required to be packaged and marked IAW MIL-STD 129 and MIL-STD 130. This is only a presolicitation notice. Written proposals are not being requested at this time.
